Writers, how do you conentrate on your work with noise?

Question by The Creepshow Creep: Writers, how do you conentrate on your work with noise?

Sadly, every day noise is a fact of life, but I have a question for fellow writers - how do you concentrate with the sound of everyday things such as cars, planes, drills, construction work etc. Do you have any tips for me? I'd really appreciate any advice.
